Your privacy and your private data are protected. We collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with the content of these data protection provisions and the applicable German data protection laws, in particular the Federal Data Protection Act ("BDSG") and the Telemedia Act ("TMG"). These data protection regulations regulate which personal data we collect, process and use about you. I therefore ask you to read the following information carefully.
Collection of access data and log files
We, the LIONS UNITE e.V. or our hosting provider, respectively, collect data on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. of the German Data Protection Act. DSGVO collect data about each access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
Log file information is stored for security reasons (e.g. to clarify abuse or fraud actions) for a maximum period of 7 days and then deleted. Data, the further storage of which is necessary for evidence purposes, are excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.
Dealing with personal data
Personal data is information with the help of which a person can be identified, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, e-mail address or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data
We only collect, use and disclose personal data if this is permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection of such data.
We store names, addresses (service or delivery addresses, invoice addresses), telecommunication and e-mail data for offers and the provision of delivery or services.
For order processing, it is absolutely necessary to exchange service or delivery addresses with all participants in the service chain, otherwise a service cannot take place.
The data is stored electronically in a separate, secure system and is deleted after expiry of the statutory storage obligations.
We assure you that we will not pass on any personal data to third parties that is not absolutely necessary for the execution of an order
At the same time, we undertake to keep our EDP systems technically up to date in order to prevent data theft. For this purpose we use common technical means such as firewalls or virus scanners.
When contacting us (e.g. via contact form, e-mail, telephone or via social media), the user's details will be processed for the purpose of processing the contact enquiry and processing it in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO. The user data can be stored in a customer relationship management system (CRM system) or comparable inquiry organization

LIONS UNITE e.V. (hereinafter referred to as the "Content Provider") is responsible for its own content made available for use in accordance with general laws. The contents published on this website have been selected and researched with the greatest care. Nevertheless, the content provider cannot guarantee that the information provided is up-to-date, correct or complete. All information is provided without guarantee. Liability claims against the content provider derived from the use of this information are excluded.
Cross-references ("links") to contents provided by other providers are to be distinguished from these own contents. By means of the cross-reference, the content provider makes "external content" available for use which is marked in this way: Link/Linkbox]. The content provider is only responsible for these external contents if it has positive knowledge of them (i.e. also of illegal or punishable contents) and if it is technically possible and reasonable to prevent their use (§ 5 para. 2 Teledienstgesetz). However, "links" are always "living" (dynamic) references. The content provider has checked the external content for possible civil or criminal liability at the time of the first link. According to the TDG, however, the content provider is not obliged to constantly check the content to which he refers in his offer for changes which could give rise to a new responsibility. Only if he establishes or is informed by others that a concrete offer to which he has provided a link triggers civil or criminal liability will he remove the reference to this offer, insofar as this is technically possible and reasonable. The technical possibility and reasonableness shall not be influenced by the fact that even after access from the UNITE LIONS e.V. homepage has been prevented, the illegal or punishable offer can still be accessed from other servers.
In its decision of 12 May 1998 ("Liability for Links", file no. 312 O 85/98), the Hamburg Regional Court ruled that by inserting a link (a reference to another page) one may also be held responsible for the content of the linked page (read). According to the LG, this can only be prevented by expressly distancing oneself from these contents. On different sides of the Domain "LIONSUNITE e.V." (hereinafter referred to as "website") may contain links to other pages on the Internet. The following therefore applies to all these links
We would like to expressly emphasize that we have no influence whatsoever on the design and content of the linked pages. We considered these links to be reasonable and correct at the time of inclusion. As a precaution, however, we hereby expressly distance ourselves from all contents of all pages to which this website links and do not adopt their contents as our own. This applies in particular to criminal, pornographic, radical and violence glorifying contents. This declaration applies to all links on this website
